The Innovation Council - Developing an innovation industry; ‘resulting in better economic outcomes for New Zealand’

The NZ Innovation Council an innovation forum where innovation practices can be discussed, knowledge and experiences shared and partnerships developed.
It is made up of medium to large organisations interested in developing an innovation industry in New Zealand; by innovation we mean the development of new products, services and performance improvement initiatives for organisational growth.

This vision was developed by the Innovation Council members at the first meeting of the Innovation Council on the 17th November 2009.

Identifying Value

- getting the best results, support productivity, a single voice, agile innovation, moving fast, develop innovation research, find alternative funding, use NZ as a test-bed, identify opportunities to increased revenue, drive efficiencies

- develop a common language and processes for innovation, define innovation

Membership is FREE!
Innovation Council members are encouraged to build the Innovation Council Community by contributing their knowledge, skills and resources to events and discussions.

Membership is made available to individuals who are currently employed by organisations that are either actively involved or are soon to commence innovation activities. These activities may include; strategic growth initiatives, research and development, performance improvement and new venture development.

Membership is not currently available to individuals involved in innovation activities or consultants/contractors who supply, market or sell innovation products or services.
