Establishing an Innovation Strategy

Entering Ideas and Concepts
Once the design of the innovation system has been establish, training and coaching staff to enter ideas and engage with the system is important. After-all for the system to be of benefit staff will need to know how to use it!


This training will provide a background into innovation management principals. The entry system will allow staff to contribute to the organisations growth and development by training them on how to enter ideas for selection and development.


Establishing Evaluation Criteria
How do you evaluate all the ideas that have been put forward? How do you prioritise ideas and decide which are more important? In order to gain and retain the trust and involvement from your staff it is important to provide constructive feedback on all ideas, and to be seen to be actioning some of the ideas submitted.

Evaluating and managing idea flow and communications is an essential part of keeping the trust and respect you have gained. If this is handled incorrectly the damage that is generated can be significant. This training will help you to establish effective evaluation criteria for assessing the ideas that are submitted.

This training will help innovation coaches to better understand people and culture and how to adjust their coaching and mentoring style to get the most out of their teams. It will encourage them to assist and develop ideas with idea submitters by asking the right questions in the right way, breaking down barrier to innovation.
